“We all need to eat to live. However, to live well we need to eat well.” What can we do to turn a daily chore into a source of pleasure ?
The primary aim of our new "Happy Chef" concept is to enable you to seek out quality products according to the season, combine them according to their flavors and cook them for your own pleasure as well as the pleasure of others.
Ideas and techniques can of course be obtained from books and other sources. However, only in-the-kitchen experience plus the inspiration provided by a fully-qualified Chef will provide the degree of knowledge and confidence required.
When it comes to learning about taste and handing down its traditions, there is no substitute for human contact and the hands-on approach.
Our workshop is situated in the old village center of Viroflay. Here you will be able to express your ideas and feelings through trying out a wide range of recipes.
Jean-Baptiste obtained his diploma from the "Ecole Supérieure de Cuisine Française" in 2001, where he was first in his year. Backing up this achievement is his on-the-job experience covering a period of 15 years with some of the most renowned Chefs:
  • Gérard Vié at the Trianon Palace Hotel,
    Versailles
  • Stephane Raimbault at the Oasis restaurant,
    Mandelieu la Napoule
  • Guy Martin at the Grand Véfour restaurant,
    Paris
His enquiring nature into the world beyond has led him into developing his career in such places as California and Tahiti. His deepest desire is to pass on to others his passion for the culinary practices not only of his home country but also elsewhere. It is for this reason that Jean-Baptiste has set up his "Cuisine Coup de Cœur", in other words the "learning center for gourmet delight".
